What stays on your device

Razlo saves game preferences, language-specific recent-word history, an optional player roster and up to 100 completed rounds. You can enter optional player names; the roster is saved on this device. Optional player names and selected photo thumbnails can be saved as reusable profiles on this device. Older saved rounds can retain legacy avatar metadata. Completed rounds may contain those names and avatars, player numbers, dealt words (including custom words), roles, eliminations, final guesses, the recorded winner, optional historical notes and feedback, rating and duration. Location and microphone access are not requested. Apple’s Photos picker provides only images you select, without full photo-library access.

Live cards stay in memory. An unfinished Who’s the Spy or Cabal game is saved only on this device, with file protection, at public moments between turns so it can resume after an interruption. The save is deleted when the round ends, when you discard or reset it, or after 12 hours, and is never synced or backed up. Onboarding progress and app-review prompt counters are also kept locally.

Cabal saves up to 100 completed rounds on this device, including the role deck, surviving seat numbers, nights, date and winner. Each game also saves up to 100 completed player-table snapshots with names, small photo references, seat colors and final roles. These player snapshots and photo files do not sync with iCloud. Editing or removing a reusable profile does not change a past round; Delete saved data & disconnect erases both. Completed Cabal stories also retain resolved night actions, public voting events, first names and profile thumbnails locally, within a 24 MB archive. These detailed stories are not included in the app’s iCloud library and are erased with saved data.

Who’s the Spy and Cabal let you type names, select a photo or reuse a saved player. Cabal can also import specific contacts with Apple’s system picker. Only selected names and small, metadata-free photo thumbnails are saved locally. Phone numbers, email addresses and contact identifiers are not imported. There is no dialing or address-book scan. Spoken player names use bundled first-name recordings or available on-device speech; names are not sent to the narrator provider. Saved profiles and photo files are excluded from the app’s iCloud library and are erased by Delete saved data & disconnect.

Dossier is not available for new games in this release. Existing Dossier history may retain completed player tables, final roles, dates and winners. Legacy individual mission choices were discarded after their aggregate result was calculated.

Optional Apple sign-in

Sign in with Apple is optional. Razlo requests neither your name nor your email. It stores the opaque Apple user identifier in this device’s Keychain, not in the synced game library. Razlo does not retain Apple identity tokens or authorization codes and has no developer-hosted account service.

Disconnecting removes the local Apple identifier and keeps your saved games. To revoke Apple’s authorization, use Manage Apple authorization in Settings → Account & iCloud.

Optional Apple TV companion

When you explicitly pair Razlo with Apple TV on the same local network, an encrypted connection shares public player numbers and colors, small copies of selected player photos, living players, announced outcomes, public event history and public ballots. Photos identify numbered seats, are stripped of metadata and remain in memory for the current round. Public first names can identify players. Contact identifiers are not sent. Private cards, unrevealed roles and night decisions are not shared during live play. After the game, paired story playback shares the completed role reveal and resolved night decisions; profile thumbnails remain in TV memory for the displayed round or story. Player photos are not uploaded to a server or included in the iCloud game library. The pairing key and the paired device’s name and connection identifier are saved in this device’s Keychain, without iCloud Keychain sync. Paired apps can reconnect automatically on the same local network after an interruption or relaunch. Both apps must be open and connected for live updates. Use Disconnect in the connection screen to remove the saved pairing authorization on that device. This feature uses no developer server or internet account.

Private iCloud sync

Sync is enabled by default when iCloud is available. You can turn it off in Settings → Account & iCloud. Guest play does not turn off iCloud sync. Sync uses the iCloud account in device Settings, independently of optional Sign in with Apple.

The synced library contains approved settings, saved Cabal role setups and up to 100 completed results per game. Word-game results retain their existing optional names and legacy avatar metadata. Cabal and Dossier results include final roles, player numbers, colors, date and outcome; Cabal also retains surviving seats and night counts. Player photos, reusable profiles and named/photo player tables remain on this device. Apple stores synced data in your private CloudKit database. Razlo does not publish it or operate a developer server receiving it. Devices using the same iCloud account can restore the synced library.

The local installation can cache libraries separately when the device changes iCloud accounts. Live cards, Apple sign-in credentials and the bundled word, artwork and audio libraries are not part of the synced payload.

Advertising, tracking and diagnostics

The reviewed version of Razlo includes no advertising, tracking, developer analytics service or gameplay requests to developer servers. Optional Apple identity and iCloud sync contact Apple services. Apple may separately handle App Store, TestFlight and operating-system diagnostics according to your Apple settings.

These pages do not include analytics scripts, advertising or cookies. A website host may process ordinary request information such as IP address and browser details to deliver and secure the pages.

Retention and deletion

Completed-round history is limited to the latest 100 rounds per game; recent-word exclusions cover the previous 50 rounds per language. Preferences remain until changed or deleted. Copies may also exist in device backups managed by your operating system or Apple account.

Choose Settings → Account & iCloud → Delete saved data & disconnect to clear saved game preferences (including guided/free play and spy count), the player roster, history, cached libraries and the current round on this device, even without internet or iCloud. The action also removes the local Apple sign-in identifier. Onboarding progress, the sync switch and review-prompt counters are not reset by this game-data action.

A minimal reset timestamp and pending deletion request remain so older synced history is not restored. Cloud deletion completes only when sync is enabled and the relevant iCloud account is available. If an account was previously synced, the request stays bound to that account; switching to another account does not delete that account’s cloud library. If this installation has never synced, the request applies to the first iCloud account that subsequently syncs.

Other devices apply the reset when they next sync. New rounds and preference changes made after the reset may be kept. Deleting this app before its pending request syncs can leave the cloud copy unchanged. To erase an older cloud library, complete the pending deletion first. A minimal reset marker can remain in iCloud to prevent old devices from uploading erased records. Device-only player photos, profiles and tables must be cleared separately on each device.

Support messages and policy changes

If you email support@skymesh.app, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer your request and investigate the reported issue, retain it only as needed for that purpose and applicable obligations, and do not use it for advertising. Avoid sending passwords, Apple authorization codes or private game words.

Contact the address below for privacy questions or help with deletion. Future versions may change these practices; the updated policy will describe any changes.

Optional purchases

Who’s the Spy, its Blank variant, Cabal and the core English and Persian word decks are free in this release. Extended word packs are optional one-time purchases at US$1.99 each in the US storefront; prices in other storefronts are shown by the App Store. There is no subscription. Dossier is hidden, and additional languages are not offered in this release.

Apple processes every purchase. Razlo never receives your payment details or Apple Account name or email. The app checks the purchases signed by Apple on this device to unlock content and runs no purchase server. Purchases can be shared through Family Sharing and restored from Settings → Razlo Store.
